Na faixa, ele reutiliza sua estética de vulnerabilidade introspectiva -- letra suave, arranjo minimalista -- para explorar temáticas existenciais: o peso do passado, a sensação de estar preso a memórias que se recusam a partir e a dificuldade de avançar.
A canção retoma traços de suas composições mais confessionais.
